The
End Result
Training
From our
first day in business, we knew we
had only one opportunity to do a client's
reception right. To ensure this, we developed The DJ
Crew training program. It teaches
our employees event structure, crowd
adaptation, and how to take
care of a client. Our training
program not only makes sure all of
our DJs are of consistent skill
level, but that our brides and
grooms receive excellent service no
matter which team they have.
All of our employees
start as assistant DJs with
their training focusing on
coordinating the entire
reception, microphone presence,
music knowledge, song transition,
and reading a crowd. We help them build a
strong foundation in a
classroom setting, followed
by extensive on-the-job
experience which teaches them to
adapt to the uniqueness of each and
every bride and groom.
Upon successful review, the assistant DJ then
has the
option to train for the lead DJ
position. |

Lead DJ training involves developed
microphone skills and scenario
training, with the final test being a "mock" reception designed by the DJ
Crew owners.
Prep Work
Whether
you are having dozens of dances and
dedications, or a
simple, laidback party, we want our
DJs to
be as prepared as possible. Your lead DJ will go over
your entire event with you ahead
of time to make sure nothing is left
to chance.
This includes: The Flow of
Your Evening
Timing of Your events
Must Play/Do Not Play Lists
Event Songs
Atmosphere You Want Created
Bridal Party Pronunciations
Special or Unique Events |

We
can then coordinate
with your caterer, photographer, and
other vendors
to make sure everyone is on the same
page. That way, in case something
occurs that you didn't plan for
(example: outdoor pictures
interrupted due to rain), we can make
adjustments to minimize delays.
